Virtual Meeting Terms, Conduct & Privacy Policy
By joining any virtual meetings (on Zoom or other teleconferencing / web conferencing technologies) hosted by
Hornsby Presbyterian Church (HPC), I agree to:
Conduct
Respect others in love in the context of using audio, video and messaging functions
Conduct myself in an appropriate manner; as if I was joining an HPC church service, gathering or event in person
Ensure when using group and/or one-on-one, audio, video, chat/messaging features; I am doing so appropriately with others (taking into account the diversity of the community)
Refrain from anything that could be considered as an obscene written, verbal or visual gesture / behaviour
Privacy
To respect the privacy of members of HPC and any visitors that are participating in the virtual meeting including:
Not taking screenshots, photos, capturing animations and/or video recordings of any part of a virtual meeting
Hornsby Presbyterian Church recording the virtual meeting and consent to myself being recorded as a participant
Participant Management
Being muted or removed from the virtual meeting by the designated Hornsby Presbyterian Church host(s) at their discretion
If I am a parent, legal guardian or carer of a person under the age of 18 and that person is attending an HPC virtual meeting, I understand:
I am responsible for the person’s compliance / consent to Hornsby Presbyterian Church’s Conduct and Privacy terms detailed above;
I am ultimately responsible for the person’s virtual safety through physical supervision and presence
I am aware that action may be taken by Hornsby Presbyterian Church if I contravene or choose not to comply with any of the items specified above and that these are all conditions of virtual meeting entry.
