Our church likes to set aside time each year to go away together for a whole weekend. It’s a great opportunity for us to grow in our appreciation of God’s incredible love for us, as well as our love for God, each other and his world. It’s also a time to relax and have fun. We’d really love everyone to come!
Here is some info on the location, costs, and how to register!
1. Weekend Away has moved location!
After much growth in our church, particularly among young families, we realised we would need a site that could better facilitate our needs. We were able to find a new site that not only will give us the space we need but provide many extra comforts.
Pacific Garden Hotel located in Wamberal (1hr drive from Hornsby) is a Christian run site that provides more than enough private rooms. It also has an onsite pool, tennis court, pool/table-tennis room and is close to shops and the beach for free time adventuring. Praise God for his provision!
2. NSW Vouchers can be used this week for registering!
There’s still time, if you have any left, to use your NSW Stay ($50) and/or Parent ($250) Vouchers towards the cost of the weekend. These can add up to hundreds of dollars. To use vouchers to cover some of your accommodation costs, you must complete the online registration form and transfer your funds to the church bank before midnight Thursday 6th of October.
We strongly suggest you make use of this opportunity and register by Thursday. To use vouchers in our form simply navigate to the relevant voucher(s) you would like to use in the Service NSW App, take a screenshot and upload the image(s) on the form named in the format surname + voucher-type + number (i.e. Jones Parent Voucher 1).
3. Registrations for the 2022 Weekend Away are now open!

If cost is an issue please start a conversation with Jon Pratt or James Chuang. If you are in a position to be able to contribute more so others can come, any contribution will help subsidise the costs of others in financial hardship – again we’d love everyone to be there.
We will be bringing a device to gathered worship so you can register there if you would like to.
More details will be shared in the coming weeks but feel free to get in touch if there are any questions holding you back from registering. Early registrations really help our planning and this year there’s hopefully even more reason with the vouchers.
Lastly, please be praying with us for the weekend! Praying for as many of our HPC family as possible to be able to gather together, for a fun safe time to grow in fellowship and for us to know more the love of God!
